Welcome to Grandboro Lynmouth

Dear friends


We are sorry to inform you, that we have retired and sold on Grandboro to Chris and Mark Channing on the March 31, 2006. After extensive renovations Mark and Chris reopened Grandboro under the new name Bay View House.

We moved to Taunton, Somerset. This move enables us to be very close to our son Peter and to Valerie's aunt who is in a nursing home nearby.


This brings to an end my 45 years in the hospitality industry with the last 18 being spent running our own business. We still keep our interest in Berkshire enabling us to have our weekly trip to the county of Valerie's birth.

We had great pleasure over the past 18 years in meeting and getting to know you all, but we hope you will continue to visit Grandboro now Bay View House and enjoy Lynmouth as before. We might even be fellow guests ourselves one day!
